Essential Duties:
- Assist clients in defining their NetSuite Implementation project objectives and scope, engaging change management processes as necessary.
- Lead business requirement discovery and process mapping sessions including, but not limited to: company setup, order to cash, procure to pay, financial reporting, inventory & supply chain, revenue management, and fixed assets management.
- Configure and test leading practices in NetSuite to address business requirements, workflows & approvals and related processes, keeping in mind any third-party system integration considerations.
- Drive project efficiency by holding team members and clients accountable, ensuring high quality task and milestone completion.
- Build reports, saved searches, and dashboards that provide comprehensive and actionable business intelligence.
- Establish and oversee the customer's initial development, testing, training and adoption of leading practices within NetSuite to build a strong foundation before, during and after the initial system rollout.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members and clients.
- Project governance, including hours tracking, requirements documentation, testing documentation,source code repository protocols, and other related activities.
- Continuing education to advance skills, which may include a combination of self-study and instructor led training, seminars, certifications, etc.
Role Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in practical sales operations, sales, marketing, systems consulting, project management, or operational/accounting role(s).
- At least 2 years experience as an advanced NetSuite (or similar Accounting/ERP system) user or consultant, with specific focus in Advanced Financials (NetSuite OneWorld Architecture/Global Consolidations and Multi-Book experience preferred), Order to Cash and Revenue Processes (ASC606, Advanced Revenue Management and Fair Value Allocation experience preferred).
- Takes initiative to learn new business processes/applications as needed and use strong analytical problem solving skills to address client needs.
- Strong ambition to become a subject matter expert in NetSuite features and functions to support end-to-end implementation and optimization projects.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to foster internal and customer relationships.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or other related disciplines.
- NetSuite Certifications highly preferred (ERP, ARM, Multi-Book, Financial User, Administrator, SuiteFoundation, etc.).
- Ability to travel as needed.
Work Hours, Availability and Responsiveness:
- Regular business hours are 9 am to 6 pm CST, regardless of whether working on site or remotely, unless a customer engagement establishes different working hours
- Attendance/participation in customer meetings and calls is a critical part of our business – availability (or lack thereof) must be clearly communicated in advance
- At all times, Supervisors must be made aware of work schedules, work locations, personal time off (“PTO”), etc., and PTO must be approved in advance and may be subject to limitations depending on customer projects and key milestones/delivery dates
- Unless on approved PTO, all emails and phone calls must be responded to within one (1) business day, but preferably, by end of the same business day
Working Environment/Special Demands:
- Combination of in-office work and remote/home-based work
- Extended periods of time interfacing with a computer
- Extended periods of time sitting
- Open-office environment where background noise is common, including phone calls, ancillary conversation, traffic, etc.
- Project-based travel to customer sites for kickoff sessions, user acceptance events, go-live events, etc. Travel is estimated to be 20% to 25% of total hours worked over a period of time
